How to stop my boyfriend from dictating me everything?

He always asks me to wear ugly loose full sleeved tops and jeans and never lets me wear fashionable dresses or capris...I am totally hating it.I have never been indecent in the way I dress but he is making me look ugly and then calling me ugly and other girls pretty..
