Help i dont know how to get out of the pool!?

so i just started swimming at the aquatics center and its about 10 feet deep and they dont have those jump this for diving in and i don't know how to get out of the pool cause the water only goes up 2 feet below where the deck starts and in between that theirs this small gap that i stuck my nee into and almost broke it and i want to keep swimming their but dont know how to get out just plz help! oh and don't tell me to go to the ladder cause their isn't one!
